What information do we collect?
MEDEquus uses Google Analytics to track website visitor activity. Logged information may include timestamps, your IP address (as it appears to the server), and the pages you visit. This information is not personally identifiable. However, if you identify yourself by filling out a form on one of our websites and providing us with Personal Information, this will be stored within Silverstripe CMS and Zoho CRM.
We do not share analytics data with any third-party. However, access to this data is provided to Vibe Creative who manage the MEDEquus website. Under no circumstances can Vibe Creative share this data with a third-party. We never publish any personally identifiable information.
Personal Information and contact details
At certain times, we will request Personal Information from you in connection with contact/enquiry forms, newsletter sign-up forms or ROI calculators, when requesting product or service information, when downloading marketing content, or when providing comments or feedback on the site. We only collect Personal Information requested at the time of collection for the purpose explained on the form/page.
Providing personal information within a form is voluntary. However, failure to provide Personal Information when requested may result in certain services or resources being unavailable to you. For example, if you do not share your email address on a form, we will not be able to contact you via email.
Cookies and other tracking technologies
MEDEquus utilises cookies and tracking scripts on our websites. This is in order to administer the site, analyse trends, track users' movements around the site, and gather aggregated information about site visitors as a whole, such as which countries our website traffic originates from. The platform we use is Google Analytics.
What do we do with the information we collect?
If you provide MEDEquus with your contact details for the purpose of online registration, submitting an enquiry, requesting product or service information, or downloading marketing content, we may use this information to get in contact with you. The purpose of that contact will be to respond directly to your enquiry or request, and in some cases, to determine if you have other needs we can respond to.
If you submit an enquiry through the MEDEquus website, you will provide personally identifiable information. The conversation and your identity is linked to our customer relationship management system, Zoho.
When you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address is required in order to add you to the mailing list. You may unsubscribe from future mailings at any time either by contacting us or clicking unsubscribe in the email. Clicking unsubscribe will take you to your MEDEquus email preference centre where you can update any subscriptions you have.
We occasionally send e-mail newsletters, which contain news, information or offers which we feel will be of value to you. These are only very occasional mailings, but never the less if you do not want to receive them, simply let us know by either using the unsubscribe link provided on the email, or by contacting us at the address given in our contact details.
Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers on-line will only receive telephone contact from us with information regarding specific enquiries, availability requests or bookings they have placed on-line. We do not use “cold call” telephone marketing techniques.
Personal Information collected on the MEDEquus website will never be shared outside the company, other than with the third-party service providers named in this policy.
Information security and retention
We make reasonable efforts to maintain a level of security that is appropriate to the risk associated with the processing of Personal Information. Internally, we maintain administration measures designed to protect information. For example, employees are only granted access to the Customer Relationship Management system if they need it in order to their job role. We have strict protocols in place to prevent employees from saving data and restricting access should the employee leave the business.
No information transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. If you have reason to believe that your Personal Information held by MEDEquus is not secure, you can contact us immediately.
We use virus scanning software on all of our inbound or outbound e-mail traffic without exception.
Identity Theft Precautions
Your bank & credit / debit card details are not stored or held by MED Equus Ltd.
All paper documents holding personal details that are not required to be held by law, or for accounting / tax purposes, are destroyed when your order has been completed and successfully delivered to you.
UK and EU residents
If you complete a form on the website, you will be given the option to opt-out of receiving future updates and marketing content from MEDEquus. You will also have the option to subscribe to newsletters from SilverStripe. You may unsubscribe from future mailings at any time either by contacting us or clicking unsubscribe in the email.
